It's been a minutes since I have taught a cooking class, but I ready to get back into the swing of things. Starting March out right with 2 classes. The first class is a Indian/Mediterrean Cuisine with a twist. The menu will include Sweet Potato Hummus, White Chocolate Baba Ghannouj, Butter Chicken and Kheer or Indian Rice Pudding. $60 Per Person in my home! Remember I can hold up to 10 people in my home. One of the first classes I taught was a St. Patty's Day Class in 2012. The menu included Irish Soda Bread, Parsnip & Apple Soup, Irish Crème Brule, along with Shepherds Pie. I think I need to update it a little with Cheddar Guinness Dip and a different entrée. Maybe Cider Pork & Onions, or a Rack of Lamb or Sirloin with Mushrooms and Whiskey Cream Sauce. $60 Per Person in my home! Irish Beer & other pairing offered at an additional cost.
In honor of Earthy Day, let's start thinking about how we can add more vegetables to our diet. We will be cooking out of the cookbook, Vegetable of the Day. Our entrée will be Vegetarian Moussaka, all veggies no pasta! Ever thought how to add more vegetables to your breakfast or brunch?! How about asparagus with a fried egg & bread crumbs. I have to make my favorite, Quinoa-Spinach Patties and Roasted Beets with Lemon-Thyme Vinaigrette. Wine Pairings always available but let's go Organic for this class.
