Many Italians like to enjoy the Feast of Seven Fishes during the holidays. Our family would celebrate it on Christmas Eve. We will start out with a Shrimp Cocktail, some delicate crab cakes, cup of traditional Oyster Stew, a small Caesar salad with a side of anchovy, and to finish a small pasta or risotto with the last 3 fishes. $70 Per Person in my home! We will start at 630pm, and since we usually end around 9pm you have plenty of time to make it to your New Years Celebration on a full belly.
Let's spend Valentines Together! Every coarse including appetizer has a touch of coco in it. Entrée will be a Cocoa Rubbed Pork Tenderloin or Salmon Filet.
August we always enjoy going to California for a week and usually do some wine tastings in Temecula or around the San Diego area. I have picked some recipes for this class from some outstanding chefs in California, the menu is as follows: Pickled Peaches with Proscuitto Appetizer, Luna Park Cobb Salad, Pan-seared halibut with white peach tarragon salsa. Dessert still to be determined, but I am thinking Valhrona Chocolate Almond Individual Tortes with a fresh fruit compote. We do need a minimum of 6 people for this class to be held. Wine pairings are optional for $15.00 for 3 glasses of wine. $65 Per Person in my home!
